Super No More
I have dropped the last and final 'Super' from my BMI label. From Super-Super-Morbidly Obese...to Super-Morbidly Obese...to today, where I can stand up proudly and say, "I am Morbidly Obese!"Sure, there is Severely Obese and just regular Obese (not to mention Overweight) left to go, but to lose that stigma of the Super label makes me stand a little taller. A little prouder. I'll suck in my ample gut just a little more with the knowledge that I've left my exclusive club and joined the ranks of between 3 and 8 million Americans who are card-carrying Morbidly Obese.

Great blog. The picture goes very well with your topic; that's what hooked me into reading. I congratulate you on your progress. I can only emphasize how critical your surroundings and brainfood are to your continued positive determination. I am a nerd who was 135 pounds wet for what seemed like forever—and in truth, psychologically, I suppose I will always be—nothing generates success like visual progression noticed by peers and yourself. I am finally 210lbs. Go for it!

Sometimes.....success breeds success. My success so far on this journey is simply fueling the fire for continued success. What I have found most of all is that STARTING is the hardest part.
